Class Details


We supply the materials* & tools.

Most classes have 6-10 attendees and 2 instructors.

Class is held at our studio in Bay View, Milwaukee.

Replicate our design at class or bring your own idea.

No experience necessary.

Most classes range from $45-$65 and last 2.5-3 hours.

Bring your favorite beverage to enjoy during class!

Wrap Ring Class

$45 (brass/copper) $65 (silver)

Work with wire or sheet metal to create a ring that wraps around the finger (not soldered) (*easy to gift, as wrap rings allow for some flexibility in size!).

Stamped Jewelry Class

$45 (brass/copper) $65 (silver)

Work with sheet metal and stamps to create a pendant necklace or set of earrings - stamp a special name, date, place, or symbol into the metal- or use stamps to create an interesting texture on the surface of the metal.

Forged Pendant Class

$45 (brass/copper) $65 (silver)

Bend and forge wire into a pendant. Most popular design includes variations of the 'ray' Necklace. Forge multiple rays in a cascading pendant, hang one or two forged rays for a minimalist look, or find balance creating something in between. Includes 1 chain necklace to hang your pendant.

Hair Pin Class

$45 (brass/copper) $65 (silver)

Bend and forge wire into a functional hair or scarf pin. Similar in design, these multi-functional pins can be used to secure your hair or a thick-knit scarf.

Forged Earring Class

$45 (brass/copper) $65 (silver)

Bend and forge wire into a set of earrings. Most popular design includes variations of dangling 'rays' earrings. Forge multiple rays into a pair of statement earrings, hang one or two forged rays for a minimalist look, or find balance creating something in between. Includes a set of sterling silver ear wires at no additional cost.

Cuff Class

Work with wire to create a set of bangles or sheet metal to create a cuff.

Meet The Instructors

Tasha Rae Tatro was born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin Madison to pursue a degree in engineering and physics and eventually found herself involved in the arts. She graduated with a degree in graphic design but had discovered her true love in art metals. Tasha has also studied at Haystack School of Craft and the Howard Academy of Metal Arts where she received a certificate in both blacksmithing and goldsmithing. She has lived and worked in Minneapolis, San Diego and has a retail shop in the Bay View Neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI.

Kristin Marie Finkbeiner was born in Mauston, Wisconsin. She earned a B.F.A. in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2009. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she explored glassblowing and textile arts at the University of Sunderland in England and diversified her metals studies by also completing coursework at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Her primary medium is steel and silver wire with which she creates both objects and wearable pieces. She currently works out of her studio in Milwaukee, WI.
